Rosie Banyan Meets Rosie Batty

Happy INTERNATIONAL WOMEN's Day.....

I walk into the foyer downstairs and sitting there is this Incredible Woman. I had come into the city last week to listen to Rosie Batty. We walked, talked and shared the hardships that Women can face.

Things are changing and our VOICES are being heard for Change.

We travel up the escalator and laugh that our name tags are sitting together.

Thank you Rosie Batty...... for bringing light to the struggle behind closed doors - a reminder not to judge another for their fear in staying when all they want to do is run & for sharing such a personal story that no mother should ever have to go through. I know your strength now comes from your little boy from the other side. A sacrifice to save others.

From one Rosie to another - blessing to those that can draw strength, courage & enough love to forge forward and be a universal voice of change.

Holding 'Space' for Another.......

Over the weekend I held a stand at the Mind Body Spirit Festival in Melbourne. Each year I set a different intention when I do this. This year I set the intent of holding space for another. This was great practice for my trip to Senegal, Africa in February next year with Business Chicks and The Hunger Project
